As referenced on our recent documentary “Heathens” by CloudSurfers (located on our YouTube channel and via the following link: HEATHENS: Behind the Scenes at Haywards Heath Town FC: PILOT ), we have been in the process of submitting an application to the Local Authority for the installation of a new 3G football pitch, new stand and new padel courts.
Unfortunately, despite going back and forth with the Local Authorities, and obtaining various reports from different professionals regarding the sound and light pollution from the proposed padel courts, we made the difficult decision to remove the padel courts from our planning application at this moment in time.
The application was therefore amended and re-submitted for the replacement of the existing grass football pitch with a new 3G pitch and a new stand located to the North East of the replacement pitch (I.e., the end whereby the current 3G cage is located).
We are now extremely pleased to confirm that our Planning Application has been “Approved” by the Local Authority!

The proposed work shows our on-going commitment to developing the ground for the benefit of everyone at the club. From our fantastic supporters having a new stand to watch football from, to the youth and adults being able to use the proposed 3G pitch, we feel that these works will benefit everyone involved at HHTFC. The 3G pitch will enable more age groups to use The HSEnergy Group Stadium, and therefore we hope that this will bring all age groups together, and will benefit the youth of Haywards Heath in years to come.
More information regarding the ground development will be provided in due course, and when we are in a position to do so.
One Town. One Team.
