Nick Bolt is new Women's First Team Manager
Haywards Heath Town FC take great pleasure in announcing Nick Bolt as our new Women’s First Team Manager. Nicky has been bought in for the last few games to help us through the interim period and we have seen a great reaction from the players towards him and his messaging. This has reflected well in our performances and the Club feels he is the right person to lead us forward.
Nicky will be assisted by Steve Hadfield and the Club are delighted to have them both on board.
Steve Isherwood Club Chairman said “Incredibly pleased to have Nick Bolt on board as our new manager . His enthusiasm is contagious and he is a very well-liked and respected member of the team, coupled with being very organised and thorough . We had over 30 applicants for the role but ultimately the man sat right before our eyes was the best candidate as well as offering us that bit of continuity . I am 100% convinced that under the leadership of Nick and Steve Hadfield along with an additional coach that Nick is bringing in, you will see our team climb the table and with 3 or 4 additions that are already being worked on , we can definitely challenge the top teams and look to push on . The difference and uplift not only in performance but also attitudes off the pitch in the last few weeks led by Dave , Nick and Steve has been massive in such a short space of time. I would like to thank them along with the girls for this as nobody likes change but it had to be made , the results of this are already there to be seen.
Nick commented “Haywards Heath have entrusted me as Manager and Steven Hadfield as my Assistant, to further the progress of this fantastic Club. After being with the team prior, I have made Brooke Garcia Club Captain, with Megan Curran and Mae Goulden as Vice-Captains. I would like to thank Chairman Steve Isherwood and Director of Football Dave Cole for believing in the process and culture change that I feel is needed for the group. I also look forward to representing the Club alongside Jay Lovett and the Men’s team who, no doubt we as a new group, will have much to learn from. Thanks to everyone that believed in me, my abilities, my beliefs and the application of my philosophy. Here’s to the future!”
We wish Nick, Steve and all the players the best of luck and look forward to seeing the journey that they’ll take the club on.
